New York City has been well known for its deli sandwiches. Now New York City is known for its heroes of all types. Eat this sandwich in honor of the courageous effort and spirit of all volunteers, firefighters, police, emergency personnel in New York City. In the aftermath of the World Trade Center building, this hero sandwich stacks up to be the highest in the world.

• 1 large loaf of New York rye bread (not sliced)
• Pastrami
• Smoked Turkey
• Corned Beef
• Roast Beef
• Sour Pickles
• Mustard
• Russian Dressing (mayo mixed with ketchup)
• A dash of luv

Cut the rye loaf in half lengthwise. Spread mustard on the top half of the loaf and Russian dressing on the bottom half of the loaf. Place the meats in any order on the bottom loaf and top it off with slices of the sour pickles. Close the hero with top bread half and cut down into the sandwich diagonally to create multiple heroes. One hero multiplies into many! You can secure the sandwiches with toothpicks.
