Le Creuset High Heat Spatula
Le Kitchen Love Handle

A spatula by any other name would simply be a scraper, a kitchen apparatus designed to remove the remaining remnants from a bowl. Instead I find myself moved to paraphrase Willy Shakespeare, with some artistic license:

We won’t even talk about the paragon of animals!

Instead, we can extol the benefits of Le Creuset’s spatula. This one is truly revolutionary because the scraper head can be detached and washed separately in the dishwasher. In this way, the wooden handle is preserved, thus lengthening the life of the spatula.

A gorgeous hunter green, the spatula is instantly visible in the utensil drawer. At its first sighting, it is raring to go. I recently demonstrated my spatula’s efficiency on a summer salad.

Lynn’s Carrot/Red Cabbage Delight Salad(very simple according to the messy gourmet standards)

In a cuisinart or food processor, shred raw carrots and red cabbage. Add balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, pepper and za’atar to taste, along with sesame seeds and poppy seeds. A little sprinkle here and there, according to individual taste.

The spatula served me admirably. In comparing Le Creuset’s spatula with other spatulas, I noticed that the competitors’ spatulas would stain from the now purple dressing. Le Creuset was triumphant! It stayed true to its forest green.

Ah, the powers of Le Creuset’s spatula! I am now empowered to recite poetry and mimic our dear Julia Child as I am instantly transformed into a TV chef. Why not? You too can be a cooking star. Just wave your Le Creuset spatula and start rolling the tape!
